DIY Publishing

We only publish Christian non-fiction literature. Christian authors who wish to publish their non-fiction book themselves can submit a manuscript.

Here’s the way it works:

We provide the basic services to get your book published and you pay us for the services. You keep 100% of the royalties for your book unless you opt to publish under Crux Publications’ name (see below for details).

Three levels of service –

We Got You Covered:

The We Got You Covered DIY publishing service is for independent Christian authors who plan to format their own books and supply their own ISBN but desire a professional cover design. Crux Publications will provide the following:

Paperback book cover
Kindle book cover
ePub cover
PDF cover

These DIY publishing assets will be delivered within five (5) business days. The We Got You Covered DIY publishing package costs just $99 for e-book covers (includes Kindle, ePub, and PDF) and $149 for print covers. If you want a print and e-book cover combination, it’s $199.

Get In Formation:

The Get In Formation DIY publishing service is for independent Christian authors who need a greater level of support, including help formatting their manuscript. Crux Publications offers the following services:

Paperback book cover
E-book cover
Print book formatting*
Kindle and ePub e-book formatting*

We format print books that comply with Amazon KDP specs and e-books for Amazon and Smashwords. You’ll get a PDF file for your print book, formatted for Amazon KDP publishing, Mobi for Kindle readers, and ePub for everyone else.

The turnaround is ten (10) business days. The cost is $477 for the complete package or $149 for each format (print, Kindle, and ePub) + book cover costs (e.g. Kindle only = $149 for formatting + $99 for a book cover).

* Our formatting service involves up to two interior graphics. For additional graphic requirements, there may be additional fees. Complex formatting requirements will require additional fees. You can contact us for a quote at cruxpublications@gmail.com.

Join The Expedition:

The Join The Expedition DIY publishing service includes everything in the Get In Formation service, but is delivered within five (5) business days. The cost is $777.

Crux Publications does not provide editing or book marketing services. If you want someone to proofread your book, edit your book, or ghostwrite your book, contact Taylored Content.

Publish With Crux Publications

The DIY Publishing service is for authors who plan to publish their own books and upload them to their accounts at the various bookstores and distribution outlets. Authors who prefer can publish through Crux Publications. We will list your book in our catalog and sell as publisher through the various sales channel in exchange for 15% of the sales generated.

We do not require that books adhere to any specific doctrinal system as long as it does not deny the basic tenets of Christianity.
